HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL YOU NYC BLUESERS!!!


JookJoint Shimmy Blues thanks all who have come out and supported our events in 2008. Our regular regular schedules of dj parties and bandnights will be back on track in January. We look forward to another wonderful year of dancing in 2009! So far, we are planning two special events:

1. Bluesin' Boat Cruise 2009 (Summer 2009) - We will spend the evening sailing around the Manhattan harbor. We had such a wonderful time this summer so want to make this a yearly highlight.
   


2. Blues Weekend Workshop with Steven Mitchell and Virginie Jensen (October 3-4, 2009) - Steven and Virginie comes to NYC to take our blues dancing skills to the highest level. This dynamic duo are absolutely the foremost dance teachers of swing! Don't miss the opportunity to learn from the best! Remember, October 3-4, 2009.
